What Is Canias ERP? Modules, Who It Suits and How It Is Implemented
Canias ERP brings finance, production, logistics, human resources and e-transformation together in one database and adapts to your business with its own development environment. We explain its modules and the implementation process in plain language.
What is Canias ERP?
ERP is software that brings a company’s finance, purchasing, sales, stock, production and human resources work into one system. Canias ERP combines this work in a single database. Data is entered once and every related department sees the same data.
Canias is web-based and can manage several companies and several languages in the same system. It is industry-independent and adapts to manufacturing, trading and service companies.
Which modules does it include?
The financial management module covers general ledger, current accounts, fixed assets, budget and cost, banking and consolidation. The logistics module brings purchasing, sales, stock and warehouse management together.
The project and production module includes production planning (MRP), work orders, bill of materials, capacity planning, quality and project management. The strategic planning module runs demand forecasting, sales and operations planning and advanced planning.
The human resources module manages personnel, payroll, time and attendance, recruitment, performance and training. The common module carries master data and workflows to all other modules.
E-transformation inside the system
E-invoice, e-archive, e-waybill, e-ledger and e-reconciliation run inside the ERP through Canias’s e-transformation module and work together with accounting. There is no need to move data to a separate program.
TROIA: its own development environment
Canias’s most distinctive feature is its own development environment, TROIA. When standard modules do not cover a need, new screens, reports, automations or modules are developed in it.
This keeps the company from being boxed in by a packaged product. But every customisation also needs care during maintenance and version upgrades, so everything that standard functions can solve should be tried first.
Who is it for?
Canias ERP is used in defense and aerospace, automotive suppliers, machinery and metal, food and beverage, packaging, plastics and rubber, textiles, chemicals, furniture, electrical and electronics, pharma and cosmetics, building materials, and retail and distribution.
What they share: several departments need the same data, traceability and cost matter, and the process does not fully fit standard packages.
How does implementation work?
ERP is not a plug-and-play product. The project starts with process analysis: how does work flow today, which modules are needed, what data will be migrated? Then the modules are configured, data is migrated and the permission and approval structure is set up.
If needed, custom development is done with TROIA and integrations are built with systems such as e-commerce, CRM or production equipment. The last steps are user training and a controlled go-live. Support and improvement continue after go-live.
Why the implementer matters
The same software gives different results in the hands of different implementers. Understanding the process correctly, designing the modules correctly and training the team correctly affect the project’s success as much as the software.
